Thursday 16th October, in the Sixth Form centre, saw the cricketing legend Mark Ramprakash take centre stage recounting his career out in the middle and on the dance floor as winner of Strictly Come Dancing. The evening consisted of live music and singing from the excellent RGS Swing Band followed by a Q&A hosted by BBC Newsbeat reporter James Waterhouse.

Not one to shy away from his opinions Mark took questions from the floor, gave a candid insight into his cricketing career, favourite players he shared the crease with and the current affairs issues that have plagued the England senior cricket team over the last few months.

A fantastic evening was had by all and thank you to those who all attended to support the Changing Lives Campaign.
