RGS Professionals Charity Golf Day 2015

RGS Professionals enjoy a great day of golf in the sunshine at Royal Ashdown Forest. All in support of the Changing Lives campaign.

Congratulations to Alan McCormack and his Marylebone Diversified team for winning the third RGS Professionals ‘Changing Lives’ Charity Golf Day at Royal Ashdown Forest on Thursday 8 October.

16 teams competed in a four-ball stableford competition on the majestic Old Course at Royal Ashdown. Runners-up in the main event were Team Q who were cheered on by Steve Faulkner, their injured leader! However, their dogged persistence brought them success with the Thunderball Challenge. The longest Drive was won by John Coupe, whilst our own Jonny Hylton managed to hit the shot of his life to win the Nearest the Pin.

The aim of the day was to raise funds and awareness for our Changing Lives campaign and to have fun – we certainly achieved that! All of us in the RGS Foundation is delighted and very grateful for the support and enthusiasm we have received – thank you!

Next year, we will once again hold our Changing Lives Charity Golf Day on Thursday 13 October 2016.
