Focusing in on the creative careers

On the evening of Monday 26th February, Reigate Grammar School’s Career department hosted an Art and Design evening for its students and local secondary schools. Despite the unpredictable weather forecast over 100 people braved the Baltic conditions to attend, where they spoke with ambassadors from a range of fields including Architecture, Textile Design, Television Production, Garden Design, Advertising, Graphic Design, Web Design, Art & Design Teachers and students from the University of the Creative Arts.

A big thank you goes to Abi Howson (’02) and Jason Kedgley (parent) for delivering inspiring presentations and to Natasha Ayling (’13), Ruth Bond (parent), Carol Bridges (parent), Rob Elliston (parent), Michael Jones (’91), Simon Knibbs, Ruth Shepherd (’96), Laurel Spiers (’17), Lydia Thompson, David Tinn (parent), Simon Walter and Hayley Whipps for acting as ambassadors at the event.

“Thanks for Monday, it was a real privilege to share some insights, I really hope it was useful to some of them.”
