Foundation office: the new team takes shape!

I wanted to inform you of some changes to the Foundation team. I’m thrilled to announce that following the recent departure of Caroline Donald, we welcome Nikki Burch as our new Reigatian Community Officer. Meanwhile, at the start of this academic year, we were strengthened by the arrival of Catherine Hutchinson as Development Executive. They join a committed team with the exceptionally talented Jonny Hylton and Clare Adams.

We are here to engage and connect with our diverse Reigatian community through events, networks and various activities, whilst supporting the school with its social mobility focus as the charitable arm of RGS. We are here to support the Reigatian community and therefore we’re always keen to hear from you. To help you to understand who we are and what we do, please find some information below regarding the team. We are here to help you.

Sean is the parent of a former pupil and established a professional Foundation office back in 2010, with the aim of building a globally-inclusive community and a philanthropic society. Providing leadership and having strategic responsibility, he established the 1675 Bursary Fund and the award-winning Changing Lives campaign. More recently, Sean has also developed the school’s international footprint and strategy.

Catherine Hutchison: Development Executive
Catherine joined the Foundation in the summer of 2019. Her work focuses on supporting the Changing Lives campaign through her engagement with the community. If you would like more information about donating to Changing Lives, leaving a legacy, purchasing a ‘seats of learning’ chair, or sponsorship of our events or publications, please get in touch with her.  Another focus for Catherine in 2020 is launching our music fund to enhance the opportunities we can give our Changing Lives students.

Nikki  Burch: Reigatian Community Officer
Nikki takes over from Caroline Donald in this key engagement and liaison role. She is currently planning several events, including our annual ‘Back to School Day’; the ‘Gold Reunion’, and the ‘Ride Reigate’ community fundraiser. Contact her if you have interesting news and stories to share; pieces for The Reigatian magazine; wish to visit; ideas on reunion events, careers talks and general community queries. Please do get in touch!
