On Tuesday 7 March, 15 RGS sixth formers were accompanied by Jonny Hylton (Foundation Director), Rob Verdon and Alice McGinty to the Media Monks London Headquarters in Shoreditch for a fantastic evening with Ben Brown (RGS 1985 – 1993).

A Senior Vice President of Media Monks, Ben looks after their EMEA region and has been serving this industry with his expertise for over 20 years. His mission of the evening was simple: to inspire one, two or maybe even a few young Reigatians into a career in advertising, much like his own experience of an agency visit to a university careers event in the late 90’s.

Speaking with a real passion about the world of advertising, Ben highlighted the endless opportunities available within the industry, the variety of roles within Media Monks and provided some recent examples of the well-known campaigns he has worked on. All this information resulted in a fantastic interactive question and answer session from the students who were keen to learn more.

The evening once again highlighted how important our Reigatian Community, providing advice, guidance and knowledge to our young Reigatians on the start of their exciting journey.
