RGS Friends of Hong Kong Gathering 2017

The established and growing ‘ReigAsian’ group gathered on Friday 7 April at the top of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Causeway Bay for some light bites and drinks looking across the stunning Hong Kong skyline. Amongst the newcomers were TWO Cathay Pacific pilots – Josh Tuppen (’06) and Graeme Johnson (’00) both living in HK and both unaware they worked for the same employer! Earlier on in the week, we were also delighted to meet with Roy Bouch (’76) who is also in the same industry along with wife Viv, who knew Josh Tuppen from her time working at Cathay Pacific!

We also welcomed Andrew Cooper (’82) and his family, who were in town to watch the Hong Kong Rugby 7s (along with fancy dress outfits!!). Andrew also took the opportunity to reconnect with one of our HK Ambassadors, Grant Kennedy (’80), who he hadn’t seen for over 20 years. We were also lucky to have Tom Holland (’06) and Stuart Mills (’03) attend as both were visiting HK, taking in all the sights that the city has to offer.

Our thanks go to our excellent Ambassadorial hosts for the week, Lawrence Webb (’77) and Grant Kennedy (’82) – if you are ever passing through or relocating to the area please do let us know so that we can connect you.
