Old Reigatian RFC
Old Reigatian Rugby Football Club runs sides for seniors, juniors and minis and welcomes new players of all ages and abilities.

Seniors
We have set our goals this year: to run four weekly, inclusive, competitive senior sides. That means WE NEED YOU. Can you run? Can you catch? If the answer is yes then you can play rugby and you can play at Old Reigatians. So if you’re an old player, newly retired or just always fancied a game come down and make yourself available. We look forward to welcoming you to the club!

Minis and Juniors
The philosophy of the Minis and Juniors at Old Reigatian is to provide quality coaching for boys and girls from u6 to u18 in a fun atmosphere and safe environment. We welcome players of all abilities and experience and strive to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to develop to their maximum potential whilst having a great deal of fun!

Ladies and Girls Rugby
We cater for all abilities and aim to run both Touch Rugby and Contact Rugby so you get to choose how physical your involvement will be. For those just looking for fun and fitness then our Touch Rugby sessions are great fun and many Reigate mums have discovered that Touch Rugby is a great alternative to the other fitness classes that are available – and a great social occasion as well. For those looking for the more physical challenges that contact rugby offers we are gradually building up this element and recently had the current England Ladies Scrum Half and an ex England Ladies number 8 come along to a training session to show us what contact rugby is all about.

The girls train at the club on Sunday mornings at 10.00am and all girls from school year 6 up to year 12 will be warmly welcomed at training sessions and no prior experience of rugby is necessary.

The Ladies (the age range so far is 16 to over 50) train on Wednesdays from 7.30pm until about 9.00pm following which the bar is open for a post-training drink. The combination of fun and fitness that Rugby represents has proved to be a great success.

So, to all Ladies and Girls out there – please come down and just give it a go, it really will be a lot of fun – and to all of the men reading this, please encourage all the women in your life to come down and join in.
