This year we sadly say goodbye to Alan after an incredible 46 years service at school. Coaching rugby at RGS since 1971, Alan has been a stalwart of the PE Department and the Reigatian Community for all these years.

As our way of saying ‘thank you’ we are holding a Farewell Lunch for Alan at the Old Reigatian RFC on Saturday 28 October 2017.

If ‘Mr Reid’ played an important role during your time at RGS, taught you how to pass off your left hand, throw the javelin, execute the perfect cover drive or get your maths up to scratch then this is your opportunity to come along, reminisce and give Alan your best wishes for his well deserved retirement.

We also recognise that it was not just RGS pupils that Alan had a positive impact on….but also colleagues, parents, governors and friends of RGS. Therefore, as members of the Reigatian Community, we would very much welcome your attendance.
