And the award goes to…

We are very honoured, humbled and delighted to have been awarded the IDPE Fundraising Campaign of the Year award at the recent Institute of Development Professionals in Education (IDPE) Awards Evening at Whittlebury Hall.

The award was in recognition for an office that had ‘raised the fundraising bar by demonstrating creativity and innovation within a fundraising campaign; meeting desired outcomes and making a positive difference to the educational experience of pupils; adding value to the profession and inspiring the IDPE community‘. Legendary journalist and newsreader Michael Buerk was host for the evening and presented the award to the RGS Foundation for their work with the Changing Lives campaign and the affect that this bursary campaign has had on the issue of social mobility in the local area.

We are extremely pleased and honoured to have received such a prestigious award from the IDPE for the impact of our Changing Lives campaign. It recognises the commitment of Reigate Grammar School to the important issue of social mobility and the passion we have to provide as many life-changing bursaries as possible to talented children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Every child should be given the opportunity to fulfil their potential and it inspires us to work even harder and to build upon the tremendous support we receive from our amazing Reigatian Community!
