Class of 2008 Reunion (10 Years On!)

The evening of Thursday 5th July 2018 saw a fantastic reunion of the Class of 2008, in the very popular Dirty Martini cocktail bar in the piazza of Covent Garden, London. It was fantastic to see 30 old classmates come back together to share about their work, lives, weddings, research and PhDs and about all their fellow classmates who are now far flung around the world!

There were ample embarrassing photos and the yearbook was passed around with many comments on ‘the most likely to…’ for example – make a million (not yet…) and couples most likely to marry (mostly amicably moved on…). There was plenty of catching up, reminiscing and reconnecting to be done and after a few words of welcome and about the work of the RGS Foundation, everyone was warmly invited to come back to visit the school sometime and an open invitation extended to join the RGS Professionals Group via the Foundation Office, or directly on LinkedIn.

Our special thanks go to Emma Eisenberg (née Gabe) for helping to bring everyone together – it couldn’t have happened without her.
