Our first Founder’s Day – a great success
Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate our first Founder’s Day on 5 May 2020. While unable to get together with friends and loved ones due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was heartwarming to see so many emails, photographs, memories and social media messages from Reigatians across the globe.
Our founder, Henry Smith was committed in his endeavours to improve the lives of those less fortunate. The last few months have shown just what can be achieved when we pull together, and the messages of support and actions being taken by Reigatians around the world has been truly incredible.

Raising a glass to Henry Smith
To help us mark the first ever Founder’s Day, we asked every Reigatian to raise a glass to our founder, Henry Smith, and to share your memories with us. We were overwhelmed by the number of photos that came flooding in from all parts of the world, which really highlights the amazing community we have! We will be featuring these in the next issue of The Reigatian magazine, so if you would like to be included, you have until September to send us your photos and recollections!
Take a photo with your Founder’s Day coaster (as modelled!) or send us your memories from your time at Reigate Grammar School. Email these to the Foundation team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
